I fell and broke both bones in my right wrist which required surgery and the placement of a metal plate and eleven screws to repair the break. Dr. Ari Mayerfield was the hand surgeon on call at the hospital who subsequently performed the surgery. At them hospital and at each subsequent office visit, Dr. Mayerfield was exceedingly kind, patient and informative. He answered every question with a clear and knowledgeable explanation. The surgery was done as an outpatient procedure and in three months, I was 95% recovered and back to full activity. The scar on my wrist is practically undetectable! He is truly a skilled surgeon.
